Design Marco Zito
Massicci by Agape, designed by Marco Zito, is a freestanding design sink that combines the transparency of glass with the solidity of concrete, creating a sculptural element with a strong architectural presence.
Made of cast glass and molded at high temperatures, the sink stands out for its monolithic volume and slightly faceted surface, which preserves traces of the manufacturing process. The particular texture of the material generates suggestive effects of refraction and depth, creating a continuous dialogue between matter and light.
In the freestanding version, Massicci is supported by a concrete base, which enhances the contrast between the transparency and brightness of the glass and the solid, material appearance of the structure. The juxtaposition of the two materials defines a balance between visual lightness and the grandeur of the forms, enhancing the contemporary character of the project.
Designed to become the protagonist of the bathroom space, the freestanding Massicci washbasin by Agape is inserted into residential and contract bathroom environments with a refined design, where the washbasin takes on the role of an architectural as well as functional element.
